Anniversary Celebration of the Turkish Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro

The Turkish Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro celebrated its anniversary in the presence of numerous distinguished guests from the business and political world. Among the attendees was the Minister of Finance of Montenegro, Mr. Novica Vuković, , who delivered speeches that added significance to this important event.

The celebration took place at the Stara Čaršija Resort and Spa, a beautiful venue owned by Mr. Hajriz Brčvak, a member of the board of directors of the Turkish Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro. Representatives of Turkish and Montenegrin companies gathered at the resort, providing an opportunity for the exchange of experiences, strengthening of economic ties between the two countries, and consideration of future cooperation opportunities.

In his address, Minister Vuković emphasized the importance of economic cooperation between Montenegro and Turkiye. “The economic relations between our two countries are becoming stronger year by year, and events like this are an opportunity to further enhance our bilateral ties. Turkiye is a significant partner for Montenegro, and working together to improve the business climate and investment opportunities will contribute to the further development of our economy,” said Vuković.

H.E. Mr. Barış Kalkavan, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye, also addressed the attendees, highlighting the long-standing friendship and successful economic collaborations between Turkiye and Montenegro. He highlighted the year behind us and expressed optimism about future projects of TurkCham that will continue to strengthen the ties between the two nations.

The President of the Turkish Chamber of Commerce in Montenegro, Mr. Burhan Genç, expressed gratitude to all attendees, highlighting the importance of the support from Montenegrin authorities in achieving common goals. “We began with the goal of establishing a bridge between our two nations, promoting trade, investment, and cultural exchange. Over the past twelve months, we have seen remarkable progress. Turkish businesses have made significant inroads into the Montenegrin market, contributing to the local economy and creating numerous job opportunities. We have organized successful events, forums, and networking sessions that have brought together entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers from both countries.,” said Genç.

The celebration was concluded with a gala dinner.
